I’m Kara and I’ve been crocheting nerdy things with yarn since 2010. I learned how to do basic stitches then I taught myself how to read patterns and make amigurumi, eventually free-handing my own designs of Pokemon and now I publish my own patterns. I am most inspired by fantasy and geek culture and will never be found using a stitch marker. I am also proud that on average, I stitch 25 single crochets per minute.

Nowadays you can find me doing make-a-longs, working on giant amigurumi projects for charity, or designing my own amigurumi characters. I try to focus on beginner friendly projects; my hope is that if you want to learn to crochet your own fanart or giant projects, you can learn what you need right here! Some other fun facts about me:

  • I’m a wife and mama of three.
  • I love Harry Potter & Disneyland.
  • Link, Ludo & Midna are my dogs and cat.
